說到偷情(Closer)難免聯想到Damien Rice
和他的The Blowers Daughter(吹黑管的女兒)
彷彿要抽乾肺泡裡每一絲氧氣
肋間橫膜壓縮著胸腔，所有的悲痛頓時湧上喉間
揪著心低嗓沉吟
卻只能吐出一句"I can't take my eyes off you"

那是我第一次知道Damien Rice和Lisa Hannigan這對愛爾蘭情侶

The Blowers Daughter(吹黑管的女兒)(黑管也就是單簧管)
據說Damien Rice在學習單簧管時迷戀上老師的女兒
但是這段單相思沒有如願，以致後來寫下這首歌

進錄音室錄製這首歌時並不順利
所以不斷刪了又錄，再刪再錄
最後請老師的女兒到錄音室現場
Damien Rice對著本人彈唱，終究錄製成功

而當時其實錄音室現場還有另一個很棒的女人
Damien Rice眾多歌曲的女聲-Lisa Hannigan
也就是他的女友...

從2001年開始他倆一起唱了很多"Damien Rice名曲"
例如The Blowers Daughter, 9 Crimes ,Volcano,Rootless Tree
Damien Rice深情低沉的嗓音配上Lisa勾人靈魂的呢喃
一直以為他們的合作是最完美的

除了Lisa，還有誰可以這樣襯托Damien Rice
或者引導，或者使之和諧呢？

但是若說Lisa是隸屬於Damien Rice的女伶
未免對她過於不敬

Lisa Hannigan在2007年離開Damien Rice團隊
爾後於2008年9月推出自己的專輯Sea Sew

娜米卡夫人說那是對Damien Rice的背叛
但是，我想聽過Lisa專輯的人應該會有不同想法...
